ADVENTURER/ALPINIST/PHOTOGRAPHER
In pursuit of capturing extraordinary imagery and stories while adventuring at high altitudes.
Between 2016 and 2020 I spent most of my time in the World-famous Dolomites and Julian Alps in the north-east of Italy and Slovenia, chasing rocky peaks and alpine Ibex.
Then, in 2021, I dedicated my time to the Friulan Dolomites, a natural park that in 2009 became part of the UNESCO world heritage sites. The photos of the area will Clearly demonstrate why.
After the winter, as the fauna a flora started to awaken in the dolomites, 2022 took me to the green hills of Wales, rich of glacial valleys, lakes, mountains, and waterfalls. Amazed by this new landscape I felt the urge to explore every peak I could reach.
Concentrating my time mainly in the Snowdonia national park, home to the beautiful Ogwen Valley that is surrounded by famous mountains such as Trifan, the Glyders, Y Garn, Pen Yr Ole Wen and the Carnedd.
From 2023, while continuing to explore Snowdonia, I've adventured throughout the Brecon Beacons National Park, another Welsh park and area of outstanding beauty. Divided into 4 main ranges, the Black Mountain, the Becon Beacons, Fforest fawr and the Black Mountains, where you can often find the rare Welsh mountain ponies.
Born in Newcastle (UK) and after travelling across the world, in stunning countries throughout South America, Middle East, Europe. I find myself attracted and pulled towards wild areas. Vast uncontaminated, beautiful area of wilderness recognised all the way back in the beginning of the nineteen hundreds by the British and German Pioneer explorers J. Gilbert, G.C.Churchill, H.Steinitzer, K.G. Von Saar. Luckily, the Park remains untouched as they found it.
This is what lures me out into the world and makes me feel alive.
See the parks through my eyes as I travel and explore these lonely wild peaks
